About me

My name is Marissa, and I am originally from the Odenwald region in Germany. From an early age, I admired dancers for their strength, elegance, and sense of freedom in movement — qualities that deeply inspired my own path into dance.

I completed my formal dance training at Mind & Dance at the Ballettförderzentrum in Nuremberg, specializing in modern dance. Since then, I have continued to develop my practice through ongoing workshops and professional training, because growth and learning are at the core of my work as a teacher & trainer.

My journey also led me to Barcelona, where I completed a professional tap dance program under Guillem Alonso at Escola Luthier and have been based ever since.

Alongside my work as a dance educator, I am a certified stretch therapist, supporting both dancers and non-dancers in improving flexibility, mobility, and body awareness. I am currently further expanding my expertise through BASI Pilates certification, with a focus on strength, balance, and functional movement.

Today, my work combines dance, stretching, and Pilates into a holistic approach to movement — helping people feel stronger, more mobile, and more connected to their bodies.

Feel free to contact me for more details about my courses or workshops. I'd love to help you achieve your goals, no matter what form they take, because:

Where there's a WILL, there's a way! :)

Very best regards,

Marissa
